Yoga classes in Saint-Raphaël
I invite you to discover yoga classes in Saint-Raphaël in a unique setting, either surrounded by nature or directly in the comfort of your home. I believe it is essential to reconnect with yourself while being in harmony with the environment. This atmosphere is perfect for relaxing your body and mind while recharging your energy.
I tailor each session to your level, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced practitioner. Additionally, I suggest postures based on your needs and desires, always respecting your own pace. The teaching of Hatha Yoga takes place in a warm and caring environment, conducive to relaxation and self-reflection. Whether practiced at home or outdoors, yoga allows you to experience its many benefits and enjoy the sense of well-being and freedom offered by a place that is meaningful to you.
“Throughout the session, I ensure your comfort and safety, guiding you with care so that each posture is performed correctly. Yoga classes are a unique opportunity to enjoy a new experience with a professional yoga instructor while cultivating your strength, flexibility, and serenity.”
Hatha Yoga
Hatha Yoga is taught in the Indian tradition and draws its roots from traditional texts such as the Hatha Yoga Pradîpikâ, the Gheranda Samhitâ, and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.
My teaching stands out by adapting postures to each individual because Yoga must be adjusted to the needs and abilities of every practitioner, not the other way around. This is why I place great importance on ensuring that each posture is performed with comfort and ease, in line with the teachings of the great Yogi Krishnamacharya, who said: ‘It is not the individual who must conform to the techniques of Yoga, but the techniques of Yoga that must be adapted to each individual.’ “
Hatha Yoga class
The Hatha Yoga class goes beyond merely performing postures. This approach helps to strengthen deep muscles, improve flexibility and balance, while cultivating self-awareness. This method has been carefully developed through research in anatomy and movement analysis. Each posture is therefore taught in a way that avoids ‘painful postures,’ always prioritizing health and well-being.
About me
My name is Jean-Christophe, and I am your yoga instructor in Saint-Raphaël. My journey is somewhat unusual. I spent 18 years with the Paris Fire Brigade, specializing in aquatic and underwater rescue, as well as team training and management. It was during this time that I discovered Yoga.
Holding a University Diploma in Human Relations and Group Facilitation (DUFRA), I decided 12 years ago to fully dedicate myself to yoga by undertaking training under the guidance of Jean-Pierre Rougé, the founder of ENPY. This training allowed me to become a Hatha Yoga teacher, and since then, I have continued to deepen my knowledge by studying with renowned masters in India and France, such as Boris Tatsky and Babacar Khane.
My Hatha Yoga teaching is deeply rooted in traditional texts, and I always strive to adapt it to the needs of each student. For me, it is essential that every practitioner progresses at their own pace, in complete safety. Today, I am also a trainer at the CREPS in Bolouris.

The pace is slower, with great attention given to breathing.
